Moses and Aaron went to pharaoh and performed miracles, just as God instructed. Moses turned a staff into a snake but the pharaoh didn't believe. Then God instructed moses and Aaron to go to pharaoh and declare that all the waters and vessels and etc. will turn into blood. But pharaoh didn't believe. Moses performed a few more miracles in front of pharaoh but he didn't believe bc the Egyptian magicians could replicate most of them.
---all of these miracles that God performed through Aaron and Moses were truly powerful indeed... God's powerfulness was clearly shown... God is in control. But the thing that struck me the most about this reading was that God was ruling over even pharaoh. It said "God hardened pharaoh's heart." Moses was getting fed up and angry with pharaoh being so stubborn despite all the miracles and plagues God performed... But even that repeated refusal by pharaoh were planned, so that God's glory would be augmented.
