finishing up chapter 6...
moses complained that he's not the best public speaker, but he was able to deliver one of the most fundamental and convicting speeches to the israelites.
since moses wasn't allowed to enter into the promised land along with the rest of his people, God gave moses the words that he should speak to the israelites... reminding them about just how faithful God was to His people with whom he had made a covenant, just continuously providing for them no matter how much He'd done for them already. to never worship any other false gods, and to obey and follow every command God is giving to them if they want to keep living... etc....

the way that the book paraphrased moses's speech into simpler expressions was awesome. but i think i really need to read the full niv or esv version of the speech so that i'll know exactly which verses to come back to when i need a reminder of basic truths.
